Our Curriculum
At Giggles, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This sets standards for the learning, development and care of our children from 2 months until 4 years. We carefully plan activities to provide opportunities for children to learn through play and to follow the seven areas of learning development: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive art and design.
We know that each child is unique with special talents and abilities, and with an individual learning style. We understand that children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates and believe that all areas of learning and development are equally important and interconnected.
Our School Readiness Program
Our School Readiness Program is meticulously designed to cultivate not only academic readiness but also a holistic approach to learning, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. We prioritize fostering critical skills such as problem-solving, communication, and creativity, empowering each child to navigate their educational journey with confidence.
Through tailored activities and engaging experiences, aligned with the EYFS framework, we instil a sense of independence and self-assurance in every child. From encouraging them to make choices independently to fostering resilience in the face of challenges, we lay a strong foundation for their future success.
By creating a stimulating environment where curiosity thrives, we inspire a lifelong passion for exploration and discovery. Our goal is to nurture each child’s unique interests and talents, ensuring that they are not only prepared but also genuinely excited for the next chapter of their educational journey. We adhere to the principles and guidelines of the EYFS curriculum to provide a safe and fair learning experience for all our students.
